- When does school start? (2025/26 School Year)
  Tuesday, September 2nd: 2pm-4pm Meet The Teacher. Meet your teacher and drop off supplies.
  Thursday, September 4th: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! All grades. NOON DISMISSAL
  Friday, September 5th: Second Day of School. NOON DISMISSAL
  Monday, September 8th: First FULL day of school.
  School Hours:
  Full Day: 8:45am-3pm (drop off begins at 8:30am)
  Half Day: 8:45am-Noon (drop off begins at 8:30am)

  Where do we get uniforms?
  Our uniform provider is Lands End (online at Landsend.com). They know what is needed based on what grade the student is entering. Links and further information may be found by clicking HERE.

  Is there Bus Transportation offered?
  Yes, for Weymouth residents and students in Kindergarten - Grade 4. Call the Mrs. Morrissey at the school office for registration and information. 781-335-6010.

  What is the Parent Activities Committee and what do they do?
  Parent Association is an organization formed by parents/guardians of students enrolled at Sacred Heart School. The primary purpose of the School Parent Association is to facilitate communication and collaboration between parents, administrators, and the school community as a whole. This association serves various functions, including:
  Parental Involvement: Encouraging and facilitating parental involvement in school activities, programs, and decision-making processes.
  Support for School Events: Assisting in the organization and execution of school events, such as fundraisers, social gatherings, and educational programs.
  Community Building: Fostering a sense of community among parents, students, and school staff through networking opportunities, volunteer work, and social activities.
  When are report cards and progress reports distributed?
  Pre-K3y: (Stay tuned!)
  Pre-K4y: There is 1 progress report in November. Parent Conferences also in late November/early December. There are 2 report cards: January, and End of School/June. Optional parent conferences in the Spring.
  Kindergarten - Grade 4: Progress Reports are distributed 3 times a year: October, January & April. Report Cards are distributed 3 times a year: November, March & End of School/June.
  What volunteer opportunities are available?
  Lunch Duty, Mystery Reader, Field Trips, End of Year Activities, Fundraiser Events, Room Parent, Parent Association Event Volunteers/Event Chairs.
  What is a family mentor?
  The mentorship program at Sacred Heart School aims to facilitate the smooth transition of new families into the school community. Each new family is assigned a mentor who serves as a knowledgeable and supportive guide throughout the adjustment period. The mentor's role encompasses several key responsibilities:
  Welcoming New Families: The mentor extends a warm welcome to new families, helping them feel valued and embraced by the school community from the very beginning.
  Providing Information: Mentors offer essential information about school policies, procedures, and resources, ensuring that new families are well-informed and equipped to navigate their way through the school system.
  Addressing Questions and Concerns: Mentors are available to answer any questions or concerns that new families may have, serving as a reliable point of contact for guidance and support.
  Sharing Personal Experiences: Mentors share their own experiences and insights about being part of the Sacred Heart School community, offering valuable perspectives and tips for a successful transition.
